# Passport plugin for coding agents

The Passport plugin brings [Passport](/passport/get-started/overview/) into your coding agent. Install it, and your agent gains skills that set up a Passport Proxy and manage the API credentials your project needs. You describe what you want in natural language, and your agent does the work from the command line.

The plugin works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and any coding agent that supports skills. For the source, setup guides, and support, see the [Passport plugin repository](https://github.com/postmanlabs/passport-skills).

## Install the Passport plugin

[Install the Passport plugin](/passport/reference/passport-plugin/install/) for your coding agent. Review the requirements, choose an install method, and confirm the plugin is ready.

## Work with Passport from your agent

[Work with Passport from your agent](/passport/reference/passport-plugin/work-with-agent/overview/) to complete Passport tasks in natural language. For example, set up and verify a Passport Proxy, or register an API and call it with a secret reference in place of a real key.
