# Set up the Passport Proxy

After the Passport Proxy is deployed in your cloud, register it in the Passport admin console. This connects the proxy to your team so Passport Members can use it to send authenticated API requests.

## Register the Passport Proxy

To register the proxy, do the following:

1. In the Passport app, click **Org Settings** in the header.

2. Select **Access proxies**.

3. Click **Create access proxy**.

4. Enter the following details:

   * **Proxy name** — A label your team recognizes in the admin console.
   * **Proxy endpoint** — The HTTPS origin for the mTLS proxy, including the host and optional port.
   * **Management host URL** — The HTTPS origin for certificate management. Use HTTP for local development only.
   * **Vault providers** — Select **Hashicorp** (HashiCorp Vault), **AWS** (AWS Secrets Manager), or **GCP** (Google Cloud Secret Manager).
   * **Public key** (optional) — The PEM-encoded public key generated during proxy installation. Leave empty if not required.
   * **Description** — An optional description for the proxy.

5. Click **Create access proxy**.

The proxy is registered and appears in the **Access proxies** list for your team.

## Next steps

With the proxy registered, [create a namespace](/passport/set-up/create-namespace/) to group APIs and start managing access for your team.
